To celebrate and acknowledge the achievements of our rowers, coaches, volunteers and administrators for the 23/24 season.

WERC 140th Anniversary Celebration Dinner
Celebrating a rich legacy and ensuring a bright tomorrow.
Evening will include; Premium wines kindly provided by Indevin NZ, exclusive interviews with accomplished WERC members, presentation of legacy pins, silent and live auction items.
KRI North Island Club Championship Regatta
The last Club regatta before the NZ Club Championship Regatta.

KRI Xmas Regatta
The Club and our schools will be attending this regatta at Lake Karāpiro. This is typically the largest regatta in the season based on the number of rowers competing.

Coastal Rowing Beach Sprints
The new Olympic event, Beach Sprints racing starting at 8am. Racing in Doubles and Quads.
Come and experience the excitement of Beach Sprints.
Eric verdonk memorial Regatta
The Eric Verdonk Memorial Regatta co hosted by WERC and Takapuna Grammar Rowing. WERC Club, Masters and School crews will be competing.
Come and cheer them on.
NSRC Bennett Shield Regatta
The first regatta for the season is at Lake Pupuke. WERC Club, Masters and School crews will be competing.

NZ Blood Service Blood Donation Event
NZ Blood will be holding a Blood Donation event at West End Rowing Club on the 9th October from 9am to 2pm. Come along and donate some blood to help out other New Zealanders.

WERC/St John Level 1 First aid course
St John First Aid Level 1
This one day course is ideal for first aiders in workplaces and anyone wanting to learn the basics of first aid.
Minimum qualification requirement for a workplace first-aider valid for 2 years
Eligible for NZQA unit standards 6401 and 6402.

Entries open to all West End Master/Club/School members & winter squad, ARA Blues, and friends of members racing with a member. Unfortunately, no novice crews may compete in this event. Anyone else can submit a request to enter if there is space available.

We are looking to complete a number of Maintenance projects on and around the clubhouse as well as pre season maintenance on rowing boats and equipment to ensure the shed and equipment is all set for the start of the 2023-24 season.
