Celebrating 30 Years of Women at WERC
Join us for an evening of celebration as we mark 30 years of womens membership at West End Rowing Club. This event will bring together past and present members to reflect on the achievements, camaraderie, and progress of the past three decades.
24 hour world indoor rowing record
10 women are setting out to row for 24 hours on a Concept 2 rowing machine from 8am on 17 May and break the small team world record of 305.2km for 50+ year women. In doing so they’re raising funds for West End Rowing Club to acknowledge 30 years of women at West End and to ultimately enable the club to purchase a much-needed women’s double 🚣♀️ 💪🚣♀️

Eric verdonk memorial Regatta
The Eric Verdonk Memorial Regatta co hosted by WERC and Takapuna Grammar Rowing. WERC Club, Masters and School crews will be competing.

NSRC Bennett Shield Regatta

Head of the Charles Regatta
This year WERC have entered two Masters eights into this regatta, a Women’s 8 and a Men’s eight.
It will be a fantastic occasion to have two of our crews competing in what is one of the most prestigious regattas in the world.

Entries open to all West End Master/Club/School members & winter squad, ARA Blues, and friends of members racing with a member. Unfortunately, no novice crews may compete in this event. Anyone else can submit a request to enter if there is space available.

KRI North Island Club Championship Regatta
The last Club regatta before the NZ Club Championship Regatta.

KRI Xmas Regatta
The Club and our schools will be attending this regatta at Lake Karāpiro. This is typically the largest regatta in the season based on the number of rowers competing.

NZ Blood Service Blood Donation Event
NZ Blood will be holding a Blood Donation event at West End Rowing Club on the 9th October from 9am to 2pm. Come along and donate some blood to help out other New Zealanders.
